Weekly Update

It's already November!

Congratulations --- you've now, officially, finished the poetry unit! Pat yourselves on the back! We're moving onto Frankenstein in the next few days!

Remember, ISU Response #1 is due on Friday, November 6th! That's this Friday! Your entire ISU novel should be read by this time. If you haven't finished already, take the amount of pages you have left to read and divide them by the number of days left.... and that's how many pages per day you should be reading!

Please come to see me if you need help with your responses. I am available most days before school, and Monday/Wednesday/Fridays after school.

Happy Reading!

Late Assignments, Absences, Missed Work

In all courses, students are expected to complete all course work assigned to them. If a student is absent from class, it is the student’s responsibility to be informed about the work that he or she missed. Skipping a class will result in a consequence. Some deadlines are negotiated; some are absolute. If a student chooses not to submit/complete work either on a negotiated or absolute deadline then that work may not be assessed or evaluated. In those cases the student may receive a mark of zero.

Plagiarism

Students who plagiarize will receive a mark of zero. Students who participate in cheating, including those who let others copy their work, will receive a mark of zero.
